Non-Resident Licensing

Many states honor firearms licenses issued to non-residents or issue their own permits to non-resident. There are, however, some states that deny non-residents the right to carry firearms or only recognize that right for the citizens of certain states. Non-resident licensing litigation seeks to have states treat non-residents the same as they would their own residents. |
